You may kneel and you may pray,
But that doesn't take your sins away;
Who am I to say, who are they to say,
What is wrong or what is right.
Our eyes reflect a human soul,
Mirrored images evolving with time;
Our bodies shaped, our bodies formed,
A mere translation of space and time.
Stripped of all that we know,
Stripped of all that we feel;
Who are we to judge another,
Who are we to believe we're better.
Ignorance is a shameful cover,
A cover for some to hide the truth;
Ignorance has no place in this,
A fatal blow to all that we know.
Immortal we come, immortal we go,
Lives discovered, yet still so unknown;
To be at peace, is to find within,
the love that grows and touches everything.
