Diving In The Reel ©Molli Paige

You see her
walking
silent
veiled in a smokey haze
in the darkness
of the night

Her silhouette you imagine
she isn’t even anywhere near
her fingertips on your scars
she makes them fade and disappear
dreams lost, come back and reappear

Like a vampire standing still
with a penetrating view
diving in the reel
of the deepest pulse of your soul
She lingers in some quiet way
pulling the strings of fibers
leaving her scent
haunting
and craving in the air

She sees you
but when you reach
she seems to slip right through
leaving a fracture by way of heart
You wonder, was she ever really there?

With no illusions of tomorrow
you close your eyes
...and breathe...mindful...and with intent...

Of Many ©Molli Paige

A sequence of numbers
making a shy recollection
a swirling of lights
misconstrued
followed by hushed evaluations
obstructing questions of truth

Voices heard, in and out of dreams
phenomenal stories told through the years
just to be told--it is mere imagination

Hieroglyphs, carvings, paintings to prove
yet to prevail--are fiction, myth and untruths

Making reverence of devotion
the ultimate restoration
blinded, entranced and completely deprived
they keep things clouded, shrouded and concealed

Visits of many have intertwined their ideas
yet, it’s made to seem just a likely fantasy

Denying the fractal point of infinity
how strange it is, for us to believe
everything outside of us ceases
to exist

Quiet Seclusion ©Molli Paige

A silent refrain
in time
proves not enough
Instead,
a crashing defeat of mind
leaves things
absolute
and crushed
From a depth of knowing, yet unexplained
tears flow
without solitude or discontent
Shuddering sadness
eventually
subsides
and finds
its way
...into quiet seclusion

The Rains Veil ©Molli Paige

A translucent sky, breathing in the night
as the willow whispers slight
in the hushed darkness
without words
she stands in wait,
a statue, quiet
patient and still
her skin, ever so soft
is the first to notice
the rains touch
like a veil caressing
intimately inviting
 touching her face
the shadow of her body
cross like in shape
she thinks
maybe, just maybe, melt and disappear
become one with nature, swim in the sea
no complications penetrating her being
eyes closed and swept away
the secrets tangled in the wind
a smile plays
in the rains touch
like a veil caressing
relinquishing all that once was
she moves
poised, transference of thought
a breath in the night
knowing full well
the message entangled will get lost
