A translucent sky, breathing in the night
as the willow whispers slight
in the hushed darkness
without words
she stands in wait,
a statue, quiet
patient and still
her skin, ever so soft
is the first to notice
the rains touch
like a veil caressing
intimately inviting
touching her face
touching her face
the shadow of her body
cross like in shape
she thinks
maybe, just maybe, melt and disappear
become one with nature, swim in the sea
no complications penetrating her being
eyes closed and swept away
the secrets tangled in the wind
a smile plays
in the rains touch
like a veil caressing
relinquishing all that once was
she moves
poised, transference of thought
a breath in the night
a breath in the night
knowing full well
the message entangled will get lost
